Restore prices after a task or sale

Undo a completed task, stop a sale, and understand which prices return and what happens after uninstalling.

To undo changes made by Bulk Price Editor, roll back the task or disable the active sale that made them. The app restores the recorded values from before that operation, rather than calculating an opposite percentage change.

Roll back a completed task

  1. Open Tasks.

  2. Open the task's Details.

  3. Click Rollback.

  4. Wait for restoration to finish, then check the prices.

Rollback is available for completed tasks that made price changes. If the task is archived, unarchive it first. A running task has Cancel instead; canceling stops the task and restores changes it has already applied.

Rollback restores the fields changed by that task, using their recorded values. Later manual edits to those fields can be overwritten, and newer overlapping task or sale changes can be canceled. Check the task's details before undoing an older change.

End a sale

An active sale restores its recorded pre-sale prices when its end time arrives. To end it early, open Sales and click Disable for that sale. If no end date is set, you need to disable it yourself.

For a scheduled sale that has not started, use Cancel. For a sale still preparing or activating, canceling also restores any changes already applied.

Restoration takes time. Wait until it finishes before starting another promotion on the same products. Sale tags added or removed by the app are also reversed when the sale restores.

If you manually changed prices during an active sale, restoration returns the changed fields to their pre-sale values. Make permanent adjustments after the sale has restored, then create the next promotion if needed.

If products still look discounted

Check which task or sale changed the affected product and whether restoration is still running. Another active promotion, including one with no end date, may still cover that product.

If restoration has finished but the affected prices are wrong, contact support with the task or sale title and one example product. Do not run a whole-store restore just because some products still look discounted.

Set to compare at price is a separate task action. It copies the current compare-at value into the price field; it does not recover a backup. Use it only when you have checked that the compare-at value is the price you intend to restore and limited the selection to the intended products.

Before or after uninstalling

Uninstalling does not restore prices. Disable active sales and wait for restoration before uninstalling.

If you already uninstalled, reinstall within the 90-day data-retention window to access retained task and sale history. Then roll back the relevant task or disable the sale. After the data is erased, the app cannot restore those backups.

If you want to stop paying while keeping the app and rollback history available, switch to Free on Billing. New work then follows Free plan limits.
