Check a slow or paused task or sale

Check progress, understand paused work, and know when to resume, stop or contact support.

Open the task or sale's Details and check its status and progress before starting another price change. A large selection can take time to prepare, apply or restore.

When progress is still moving

Let the operation continue. Shopify's API limits, the number of products and variants, and the selected actions affect the time needed. Cost and margin changes need additional data and can take longer.

Upgrading your Bulk Price Editor plan increases available features or capacity; it does not increase your Shopify API speed. A percentage such as 99% is not enough to tell whether work has stopped.

Refresh the page once to check that you are seeing the latest status. Do not create another overlapping percentage task just to retry: a second task can change already adjusted prices again.

When to contact support

Contact support if progress stays unchanged for a long time, canceling or restoration appears stuck, or the operation says restoration finished but prices are wrong. If wrong prices are affecting sales now, contact support immediately.

Include the task or sale title, status, how long it has been unchanged, and one affected product or variant. Do not uninstall or run a whole-store compare-at rewrite to clear a stuck status.

When the status is Paused

Paused means the work stopped before finishing. It does not mean prices were restored.

The app can pause work after uninstalling, losing Shopify access, or repeatedly receiving a failed or incomplete product export from Shopify.

  1. Reinstall the app if needed, or reopen it and complete any Shopify permission request.

  2. Open Tasks or Sales and review the paused operation.

  3. If you want that operation to continue, click Resume and confirm.

  4. Check its Details for progress.

Reinstalling alone does not resume work. Resume continues the operation's earlier stage, which can include restoration. Choose it when you want that stage to continue.

If a sale was active before it paused and you want to end it, resume it first, then click Disable once it is active. If it is already restoring, wait for restoration to finish. See restore prices after reinstalling for the full procedure and retention window.

For a sale that was still preparing or scheduled before it paused, review its dates before resuming because it may start after resuming. If you no longer want that sale to run, use Cancel when available. If the previous stage is unclear or the needed control is unavailable, contact support with the sale title and status shown.

If it pauses again, access cannot be restored, or Resume is unavailable, send support the task or sale title and the message shown.

When you want to stop the operation

Use Cancel for a running task or a sale that is still preparing or activating. Canceling stops that operation and restores changes it has already applied; restoration also takes time.

For a completed task, use Rollback. For an active sale, use Disable. Before undoing older work, check later manual edits and overlapping changes. Follow restore prices after a task or sale.
