On Premium, create a task on Market prices and choose Reset fixed prices for the intended market and products when you want to stop using fixed price overrides. It removes the selected variants' fixed prices and fixed compare-at prices from the market price list. Shopify then determines their prices from the market's underlying pricing and currency settings.
A reset does not set prices to zero. It also does not necessarily make the displayed amount equal to your base product price: currency conversion and applicable market adjustments still matter. See Shopify's currency settings.
Decide whether a reset matches your goal
Goal | Use |
|---|---|
Stop maintaining fixed prices and return to calculated market prices | Reset fixed prices |
Undo a particular market task | Rollback on that task |
End an active market sale | Disable that sale |
Keep fixed prices but lower them | A market price task or sale |
Resetting is not the general fix for a country that missed a base-price discount. Keep the fixed prices if they are intentional, and change those market prices instead.
Reset fixed prices
Click Create task.
Select Market prices under Change type.
Select the intended market.
Under Price, choose Reset fixed prices.
Select the products or variants under Apply to.
Review exclusions and any shared-catalog warning.
Click Create task when ready to apply.
This requires Premium. Check Details when processing finishes, then verify the storefront in that market's country.
Coordinate with active sales and shared catalogs
End an active sale through its own Disable action and wait for restoration before using a reset to change the long-term market setup. Resetting fixed prices does not stop that sale or another system from writing fixed prices again.
If the selected market shares a price list, the reset also affects the other markets using that list. It is not a way to separate the prices of countries that share a catalog.
To undo the reset task itself, use its recorded rollback, taking later overlapping edits into account. Reset and rollback have different purposes: reset removes overrides, while rollback restores the task's saved starting state.
