Use Market prices to change a selected Shopify market's price list. Market editing requires Premium. Use a task for a lasting price change or a sale for a temporary promotion.
Product prices and market prices affect different values
Product prices changes the base catalog and can affect every market that calculates prices from it. It is not a country-specific workaround for a restricted market. Use it only when you intend to change the base prices and the affected calculated market prices. Existing fixed market prices override those calculated prices.
Market prices writes to the selected market's price list. For example, reducing a base USD price does not automatically reduce a fixed EUR price. If you want to retain fixed prices and discount both, configure the base-price change and the market-price change separately.
Before creating a market change, check for also affects or shared catalog labels. A shared price list can affect more than one market even when you select just one. Read shared catalogs and unavailable markets if those labels appear.
Create a market task
Click Create task.
Select Market prices under Change type.
Select the market or markets to edit.
Choose the action and value under Price.
Configure Compare at price if needed.
Select products under Apply to and review exclusions.
Click Create task when ready to apply.
The displayed currency belongs to the market's price list. The form groups markets by currency. If your store includes taxes in prices, it allows one market at a time.
Market compare-at values cannot be edited on their own: choose a price action too. If you want to clear only the crossed-out value, first decide whether the current fixed selling prices must stay. Reset fixed prices removes both fixed selling prices and fixed compare-at prices; it is not a compare-at-only reset. If you need to preserve different fixed selling prices and the available actions do not fit, ask support before running a task. Cost and margin editing are unavailable in Market prices mode.
Create a temporary market sale
Choose Create sale, then Market prices and the intended market. Configure the decrease under Price, select the products and set the schedule. After processing, check Details and view the storefront with the intended country selected to verify the market prices. To use the pre-sale market price as the crossed-out value, choose Set to old price (discount) under Compare at price.
Set an end time when you want automatic restoration; schedule times use the store timezone. When the sale ends, it restores the recorded market state. Variants that had fixed prices return to their recorded fixed values; variants without fixed prices return to calculated pricing. See restoration before making overlapping changes.
Check the correct market
Check the operation's Details, then open the storefront with the intended country selected. The ordinary product price in Shopify admin is not proof of the price that a particular market uses. A market's compare-at value may not be visible in the same admin view as its price; verify the storefront too.
The app makes batch changes. It does not continuously copy future base-price or compare-at edits into every fixed market price. Re-applying a task repeats its recorded changes; it does not create that synchronization rule.
